4 Common Problems That Are Faced by Many Car Owners

Many problems are associated with a car. However, almost every car owner faces 4 common problems. They are alloy wheel damages, bulging and cracking tyre, overheating and poor fuel economy. However, to fix all these common issues, proper car repairing services are highly required.

Alloy Wheel Damages

Nowadays, most of the cars come with alloy wheels. These wheels are cost-effective and provide optimum performance. However, over time, alloy wheels get damaged due to many reasons. Outer elements, potholes, stones create cracks and scratches on the surface of alloy wheels. Fortunately, this problem can be solved by alloy wheel welding processes. Welders use an advanced welding process to bring back the original look of your car. After welding, the welded areas are machined properly to make the seamless finish.

Bulging and Cracking Tyre

Bulging and cracking generally occur due to hit a pothole. These are very common car tyre problems. Most of the drivers have faced this problem when they drive their cars on off roads or a road full of potholes. Bulging and cracking are minor damages but they should be fixed as soon as possible. Otherwise, they can damage the whole tyre permanently.

Overheating

Overheating is another major problem that you can face. Modern cars are generally manufactured with a complicated cooling system. The system generally consists of different sensors. These sensors always monitor the coolant temperature. If the entire cooling system stops working properly then the overheating problem arises. According to the expert, the following reasons are responsible for this overheating problem.

    • Leaked car cooling system
    • Improper coolant Concentration
    • Bad Radiator
    • Bad Thermostat
    • Burst or worn out hoses
    • Broken or loose belts
    • Radiator fan stops working
    • Water pump stops working

Car overheating can be easily solved by taking care of the components of the cooling system. Mechanics identify the faulty parts of the system and immediately repair it.

Poor Fuel Economy

Last but not least, the poor fuel economy is also a very common problem that is faced by most of the car owners. When a car engine runs efficiently, it starts burning the fuel that can help to improve the car fuel economy. Over time, different parts of fuel system like air filters, fuel filters, O2 sensors, airflow sensors get wear out or dirty. The dirty fuel system may lead to poor fuel economy. To fix this problem, the faulty fuel components such as air filter, fuel filter are replaced as soon as possible.

Regular maintenance and proper driving can minimise the rate of occurring of these issues. To avoid these problems, don’t drive recklessly in off-road or rough roads and check the oil filters and air filters after a certain time.
